Privacy Policy

How Axons Mobility collects, uses and protects personal data, and the choices you have. Last updated 20 October 2026.

Company: Axons Mobility
Website: axonsmobility.com

1. Who this policy covers

  • Website visitors, including people who request a trial or a demo. For their data, Axons Mobility decides how it is used.
  • Operators and their teams who use the operator console. For account and billing data, Axons Mobility decides how it is used.
  • Riders who use an operator’s rider app. The operator decides how its riders’ data is used, and we handle that data on the operator’s behalf, only to run the service. Riders should also read their operator’s own privacy notice.

2. What we collect

  • From our forms: your name, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, company, country, what kind of company you are, vehicle type, fleet size, the demo call time you pick and anything you write to us.
  • From the website: pages visited, browser and device type and approximate location, through Google Analytics cookies; and the browser signals Cloudflare’s human check uses to tell people from bots.
  • From operators and their teams: names, work emails, roles, sign-in and activity history, billing details, and the fleet data you put into the console. Card details are held by Stripe, not by us.
  • From vehicles: the connected device reports location, battery, ignition and lock state, and driving events such as harsh braking or a crash.
  • From riders, for their operator: name and contact details, the ID photo and selfie for an ID check, helmet photos, ride history and location during rides, wallet and payment records, support messages and safety check results. Card payments are handled by Stripe, in the operator’s own Stripe account.

3. How we use it

  • To set up trials, give demos and answer your questions, and to remind you about a demo or trial you asked for.
  • To run the service: rides, payments, vehicle control, support, repairs and reports.
  • To bill operators for their plan.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent fraud and misuse.
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it.
  • To send product news to people who agreed to receive it. You can stop these at any time.
  • To meet legal duties, such as keeping accounting records.

4. The AI assistant and connected AI apps

  • The AI assistant answers an operator’s questions from that operator’s data, and only from data the person asking is allowed to see.
  • The built-in assistant never sees rider names, email addresses or phone numbers.
  • An operator can connect an AI app such as Claude or ChatGPT through MCP. It connects only after a team member signs in and approves it, and it sees only what that person is allowed to see, so rider contact details reach it only if that person may see them. The AI app’s own privacy policy applies to how it handles the answers it receives.

5. Who we share it with

We never sell personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the service, under contract: cloud hosting, payments (Stripe), email delivery, push notifications, identity verification for rider ID checks, AI model providers, website analytics (Google), demo calls and their calendar invites (Google Calendar and Google Meet) and the human check on our forms (Cloudflare).
  • The operator a rider rides with, for that rider’s data.
  • City authorities and journey planners, when an operator turns on GBFS or MDS data sharing. GBFS shows vehicle availability, not riders.
  • Police, courts or regulators, when the law requires it.

6. How long we keep it

  • Form requests: as long as needed to follow up and keep a record of our conversation.
  • Operator account and fleet data: while the operator’s plan is active, and after that as the law requires, for example for accounting.
  • Rider data: as the operator decides. When a rider deletes their account in the app, their personal details are erased, and the erasure completes after 30 days.

7. How we protect it

Each operator has a private workspace that no other operator can see. Operators choose who on their team sees money and rider details, and console sessions sign out after 30 idle minutes. Card details stay with Stripe. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and fix problems quickly.

8. Your rights

  • Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it.
  • Object to how we use your data, or withdraw a consent you gave.
  • Riders can download their data and delete their account in the rider app, or ask their operator.
  • Email hello@axonsmobility.com to use any of these rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Cookies

The website uses Google Analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages help. The operator console uses cookies that keep you signed in. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the console needs its sign-in cookies to work.

10. Changes to this policy
