From recorded route to first ride in four steps

You set up the route and the stops once. After that, riders hail or book a shuttle and Axons Mobility runs each ride.

  1. Record the route

    Add the shuttle's route in the console. Riders see it as a line with its stops.

  2. Name stops and set the rules

    Name each stop, choose where riders get on and off, and set the hours riders can hail a shuttle.

  3. Riders hail or book in the app

    Invited riders pick a stop, then hail a shuttle now or book a time slot.

  4. The shuttle drives, the platform does the rest

    The shuttle's onboard computer drives the route. Axons Mobility runs boarding, the ride, the fare and the live map.

Boarding keeps working on the vehicle itself, and a shuttle never takes a route it cannot drive.

A shuttle takes a ride only on a route it can drive, and the rider is told why if it cannot.

Boarding that works without signal

The boarding countdown keeps working on the vehicle itself, even when the signal drops.

No link, no new rides

If its self-driving system loses contact, the shuttle takes no new rides and ends a live ride.

Private, invite-only fleets

Self-driving fleets are always private. Only riders you invite can hail or book a shuttle.

Free or a flat fare, set per fleet

Make the shuttle a free service for your guests, or charge one simple fare. Each fleet has its own setting.

What is autonomous shuttle software?

It is the software that runs a service around self-driving shuttles: the route and named stops, hailing and booking in a rider app, a live map, boarding and fares. With Axons Mobility, the shuttle's own onboard computer does the driving and Axons Mobility runs everything around it. Axons Mobility self-driving shuttles are in beta.

Where can Axons Mobility self-driving shuttles run?

At closed venues such as resorts, universities, hospital campuses, data centres, theme parks, office parks and retirement communities. Every self-driving fleet is private, so only riders you invite can book a shuttle.

Who drives the shuttle?

The shuttle's own onboard computer does the driving. Axons Mobility runs hailing, stops, the live map, boarding and fares.

What happens if the shuttle loses its signal?

Boarding keeps working on the vehicle itself, even without a signal. If the shuttle loses contact with its self-driving system, it stops taking new rides and ends a live ride.

How do shuttle fares work?

Each fleet has its own setting. Make the shuttle free for guests, students, staff or residents, or charge the same flat fare for every ride, paid into your own Stripe account.

When will self-driving shuttles be generally available?

We do not promise dates. The feature is in beta, and we work closely with a small number of beta sites. If you run a closed venue and want to take part, book a demo and tell us about your site.
