GBFS and MDS, ready for cities and journey planners

City permits and trip-planning apps expect standard data. Axons Mobility produces both from the same live data that runs your console, so vehicles, zones and trips always match.

Read the GBFS and MDS guide

GBFS feeds

A public, real-time feed of your available vehicles and zones in the General Bikeshare Feed Specification, for journey planners and map apps.

  • Where available vehicles are, in real time
  • Zones such as service areas and no-go areas
  • No rider personal data in the public feed

MDS for cities

Trip and vehicle status data in the Mobility Data Specification, for cities that ask for it as part of a permit or pilot.

  • Trips and vehicle status changes
  • Supports permit applications and reporting
  • Shared only with the regulators you choose

Payments, rider sign-up, devices and data

Payments, sign-in and exports come in every Axons Mobility plan, ID checks come with the SafeRide pack (safety and compliance), and our team connects your vehicles' devices. Your AI app connection is an add-on.

Stripe payments

Riders pay by card into your own Stripe account, so you are the seller and money reaches you directly.

ID verification

Check each rider's ID document and selfie in the rider app, switched on per fleet.

Google and Apple sign-in

Riders sign up with the Google or Apple account already on their phone, in a couple of taps.

Your devices

We connect the devices already on your vehicles, from any maker, if they share the basics.

CSV exports

Export riders, trips and finance reports to CSV whenever you need them.

Integration questions

What is MCP?

MCP is the standard way AI apps such as Claude and ChatGPT connect to other software. With Axons Mobility, your team can ask those apps about your own vehicles, riders and revenue, and each person sees only what their role allows.

Can I connect ChatGPT or Claude to my fleet data?

Yes. Copy your workspace's MCP address from the Axons Mobility console, add it as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP app, then sign in and approve. Any change to your fleet needs a separate confirmation step.

What is GBFS?

GBFS (General Bikeshare Feed Specification) is an open, public, real-time data feed that shows where shared vehicles and stations are and whether they can be rented. Journey planners and map apps read it to show riders nearby vehicles. Axons Mobility publishes GBFS feeds for your fleet.

What is MDS?

MDS (Mobility Data Specification) is a data standard that cities use to receive trip and vehicle status data from shared mobility operators, often as a condition of a permit. Axons Mobility provides MDS data for cities from the same live data that runs your console.

Which payment provider does Axons Mobility use?

Stripe. Riders pay by card into your own Stripe account, so you are the seller and the money reaches you directly.

Can I export my fleet data?

Yes. Export riders, trips, transactions, revenue and expenses to CSV from the Axons Mobility console. Small files download at once and large ones are emailed to you.
